Arizona Gives Day Donors Contribute More Than $25K in Support of Kinship Families

Seeds Community Center set new records in both total amount raised and number of donors during our 2026 Arizona Gives Day campaign.

80 donors collectively gave $25,270 during the 24-hour online fundraiser held April 7. Seeds Community Center also won our power hour for the sixth consecutive year, earning a $2,000 bonus prize from AZ Impact for Good for receiving the most donations compared to other nonprofits our size during a designated hour.

“Seeds Community Center doesn’t work without our donors, and this year’s outpouring of support ensures we can keep serving Southern Arizona foster-kinship families with an eye toward future growth and new offerings,” says Executive Director Christe LePeau.

In 2025, supported by Arizona Gives Day donors, Seeds Community Center was able to:

  • Host 9 kinship support groups with free dinner and childcare

  • Award 12 scholarships to pay for extracurricular activities for kinship youth

  • Deliver 124 hand-picked Christmas gifts to every member of the kinship families we work with

  • Send 60 seasonal care packages with treats and activities

“We want to be the organization that Southern Arizona kinship families can rely on throughout all stages of their caregiving journeys, and this investment from Arizona Gives Day donors gives us the resources we need to continue on that trajectory,” says Tracy Mueller, president of the board of directors. “We’re grateful to this year’s donors for helping to lay the foundation for Seeds Community Center’s future.”
